The Three Things You Need to Check Out This Week (May 23, 2020)

While everyone on social media was celebrating states re-opening (well, some anyway), I was compiling the Three Things You Need to Check Out this week:

  1. Dr. Nijay Gupta posted both a review of Luke Timothy Johnson’s new book Constructing Paul Part 1 and an interview the noted New Testament scholar. BTW, I just received the book in the mail today and can’t wait to dig in.

  2. Speaking of Paul, Dr. Michael Bird has penned a couple of helpful articles lately beginning with Is the Righteousness of God the Gift of Righteousness?

  3. Ravi Zacharias went to be with King Jesus this week. RZIM is hosting an online memorial Friday, May 29th. You can find out more here.

That’s it for now! Lord willing, I’ll be back with a review of a beginning Greek grammar, thoughts on the Gospel via the lens of books by Matthew W. Bates, Scot McKnight and Jeremy Treat and more. Please have a safe and blessed Memorial Day Weekend.
